He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucas Ibarra and Calixta Ontiveros-Ibarra; and his siblings, Ignacia Ibarra, Teresa Ibarra, Cruz Ibarra, Hortencia Terrazas, Lydia Lopez and Berta Alice Martinez.
He is survived by: his children, Myra Rangel (Javier) of Friona, TX, Dorothy Choat (Craig) of Lamar, Rudy Ibarra, Jr. of Pueblo and Samuel Ibarra of Denver; his grandchildren, Matthew (Desiree), Christian (Mercedes), Haley (Daniel), Ryan, Sheridan, Jordan, Derion (Arriana) and Jayce; his siblings, Raul (Alice), Beatrice Whitehead (Dusty) of Worland, WY, Jerry Ibarra (Angie) of Granada and Teresa McGee (Terry) of Bristol; and his pets, Champy and Shorty. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
