He is survived by: his wife Delores "Lola" Ortiz; his children, Linda Vargas of Lakewood, CO, Michael Ortiz (Shirley) of Bristol, Barbara DeLaRosa (Ruben) of Granada, Richard Ortiz of Las Vegas, NV, Julian Ortiz (Frances) of Denver, Becky Castro of Lubbock, TX, Robert Ortiz (Juanita) of Sacramento, CA, James Ortiz (Eva) of Lamar, Eugene Ortiz (Donna) of Lawrenceburg, IN, Evelyn Camacho (Javiel) of Uvalde, TX and Cathy Ortiz of Granada; his sister Gloria Greear (John) of Berthoud, CO; and his pet Bonita. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
