He is survived by: his wife Gloria Montez; his children, Ray Montez (Theresa) of LaSalle, Jeannette Dardeen of Lamar, Mary Lou Montez of Lamar, Eloise Gallegos (Joseph) of Bristol, CO, Alfred Montez of El Paso, TX and Carlos Montez of Marysville, WA; and his siblings, Aurora Gonzales of Pueblo, CO, Jennie Moncivaiz (Fermin) of Meadow Lake, NM, Josie Jaramillo of Bernal, NM, Frances Viscarra (Manuel) of Granada, Cecilia Lujan (Robert) of Stockton, CA and Ramon Ernesto Montez (Martha) of Las Animas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
