It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Bond of Granada, Colorado, born in Lamar, Colorado, who passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Eugene departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eugene leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lowell and Evelyn Marie Bond (Martin); and his niece Tausha Leanne Bond. He is survived by: his siblings, Irma E. Bart of Calhan, CO, Eunice F. Maier of Twin Falls, ID, James R Bond (Vickie) of Wiley, CO and Thomas Bond (Terry) of Pueblo West, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Eugene Bond Memorial fund in care of the funeral home office.
