We bid farewell to Connie J. Medina of Granada, Colorado, born in Pueblo, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 30, 2024 at the age of 74. Connie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Dale and Lois Dale; and her former husband Albert Medina. She is survived by: her children, Christine Sanchez (Thomas) of Granada and Tony Medina (Jessica) of Lamar, Colorado; her grandchildren, Cierra Olsen (McKay) of Spanish Fork, Cody Medina (Emily) of Denver, Angela Alvarez (Flavio) of Pullman and Olivia Medina of Lamar; her great grandchildren, Lilly, Sophie and Harrison Olsen; and her pet Oakley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peacock Funeral Home (209 S 4th St, Lamar, CO 81052).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Southeast Colorado Cancer Initiative and/or to Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
