He was predeceased by: his father Vernon L. Choat; and his wife Debra Choat. He is survived by: his mother Dixie Choat (Lochman) of Granada, CO; his children, Trevor Choat (Mendi) of Lamar, CO and Rebecca Harmon (Ty) of Granada, CO; his grandchildren, Chelsea Laude (Alec), Alexandra Tate (Isaac), Tallie Harmon, Abbie Campbell (Cody), Emmie Harmon and Riley Harmon; his great grandchildren, Sophia Melgosa, Alec Morales, Talon Kincade, Saylor Tate and Carson Tate; and his brother Craig Choat (Dorothy) of Lamar, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
