She is survived by: her children, Linda Vargas of Denver, CO, Michael Ortiz of Bristol, CO, Barbara DeLaRosa (Ruben) of Granada, CO, Richard Nancy Ortiz of Granada, CO, Julian Ortiz of Denver, CO, Becky Castro of Lubbock, TX, Robert Ortiz (Juanita) of Sacramento, CA, James Ortiz (Eva) of Lamar, CO, Eugene Ortiz (Donna) of Lawrenceburg, IN, Evelyn Camacho (Javiel) of Uvalde, TX and Catherine Ortiz of Granada, CO; and her siblings, Jenny Encinias of Northglenn, CO and Joe Vargas of Northglenn, CO. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home (209 S 4th St, Lamar, CO 81052). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 201 S Hoisington St, Granada, CO 81041.
