With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Nicholls Jr. of Golden, Colorado, who passed away on July 28, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Thomas departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Thomas leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Marie Leach; his son Herbert Thomas Nicholls III (Tee); and his granddaughter Heather Nicholls. He is survived by: his children, Charles (Barbara), Katherine Morrow (Philip) and Judy Mead (Keith); and his granddaughters, Sara Perry, Ann Marie LeClere, Kristen Lindsay, Laura Hughes, Erica Concilio, Stacy Young, April Nicholls and Heidi Nicholls-Layman. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
