He is survived by: his wife Ellen Scharf; his son Asa (Bridget Korkowski); his grandchildren, Nikoli and Madison Marie; his niece Amanda Bracher; his mother-in-law Barbara Scharf; his brothers-in-law, Matt and Tom Scharf; and his siblings, Karen Miller (Pamela Estep), Byron Clyde Miller 3rd (Cheryl), Linden Miller (Bill Mechling) and Lauren Dilts (Jim Dilts). He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
