It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Gonzales (Glenwood Springs, Colorado), who passed away on May 21, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jose Gonzales to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his son Filbert Michael Gonzales; his sisters, Emma Espinoza, Esther Ortivez, Josephine Hall and Irene Montoya; and his sons-in-law, Steve Wittet and Randy Niemi.
He is survived by: his wife Lupie Gonzales; his children, Phyllis Wittet, Jean Gonzales (Delane) and Rita Niemi; and his grandchildren, Amanda Schard (Bryan), Nikki Sims (Harrel), Kacy Bouley (Nathan), Sashia Patterson (Craig), Stevi Wittet (Cody) and Michael J. Palomino. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
