He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonhard Roemmich and Lydia Roemmich (Klein); his son Steve Roemmich; his siblings, Cleo, Darrell, Alonzo, Phillip and Verdilla Stevens; and his brother-in-law LaVern Sedersten (Merle Sedersten).
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Roemmich; his children, Diane Roemmich (Bud Beasley) and Leland Roemmich, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Donita Roemmich; his sister Norma Pingry; his brothers-in-law, Russell Sedersten and Don Sedersten; his grandchildren, Trisha, Jeremy Gibson, Angie, Dan Nelson, Heather Roemmich, Will, Jennie Owsley and Vaughan Roemmich; his great grandchildren, Caitlin, Liam and Shayla; and his great great grandchild Valerie.
