He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Alva Ginn and Charles Tazwell Hobgood. He is survived by: his former wife Linda Gayle Duncan Hobgood of Fruita, CO; his sister Nancy Michelle Hobgood Gutschick of Glen Ellyn, IL; his sons, Ben Hobgood (Brenda) of Conifer, CO and Josh Hobgood (Bree) of Colorado Springs, CO.; and his grandchildren, Logan, Amelia, Cavan Hobgood, Owen, Wyatt and Molly Hobgood.
In lieu of flowers, Shep has asked that donations be made to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
