He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Darwin Burford and Neva Burford (Bragg); his wife Bette; and his children, Peggy0 Burford of Fruita, CO., Doug Burford (Debbie) of Fruita, CO., David Burford (Julie) of Fruita, CO. and Dana Morrison (Larry) of St. George, Utah. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Donations in his name can be made to HopeWest Hospice or the Fruita United Methodist Church.
