He was predeceased by: his parents, Onofre Vallez and Phyllis Vallez; his wife Maxine; and his sons, Fredrick Vallez and Garry Vallez.
He is survived by: his children, Herman Mascarenas of Riverton, UT., Leonard Vallez, Steve Vallez of Fruita, Shirley Gardea (Jesse) of Fruita and Madelene Pacheco (Louis) of Rock Springs, WY.; and his sisters, Dee Payne and Betty Avery of Salinas, CA.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
