It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelia Zentmyer of Fruita, Colorado, born in Grand Junction, Colorado, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucio Colunga and Celia Colunga (Espinosa); her sister Maria "Becky" May; and her grandson Joshua Critchfield. She is survived by: her children, Guy Miera of Sparks, Kim Zentmyer of Fruita, Edward Zentmyer III of Fruita, Laura Miera-Verniers of Santa Rosa, Elaine Davis of Grand Junction and Trixie Sena of Clifton; and her siblings, Angel Colunga of Grand Junction, Daniel Colunga of North Carolina and Helen Pacheco of Grand Junction. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
