She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Castaneda and Tomasa Salcido; her son Juan Ramon; her siblings, Frank, Consuelo Ramirez (Juan), Ruth Flores (Sam), Manual, Salvador and Louise; and her granddaughter Carisa Kohutek.
She is survived by: her husband Salvador Arevalos; her children, Arturo (Peggy), Anna, Dale, Lenora and Lisa; her granddaughter Alicia McGeer (Paul); and her great grandchildren, Darien, Ashton McGeer and Kaysen Kohutek (Daniel "Cain" Kohutek). She is also survived by her parents and siblings.
