With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis J. Herndon (Fountain, Colorado), who passed away on February 25, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Winder and Dorothy Winder; her stepmother Norma Winder (Samuel A. G. Herndon III); and her children, Richard Mark Herndon and Debora Susan Granger.

She is survived by: her husband Samuel A. G. Herndon, III; her brother William Earl Winder (Marty); and her sons, Samuel A. G. Herndon, IV (Barbara) and Steven M. Herndon (Maria). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
