With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria C. Olemeda (Fountain, Colorado), who passed away on January 7, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Juana E. Romero and Jose C. Romero; and her husband David Olemeda. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Gonzalez (James), Roxanne Olemeda, David Olemeda, Daniel Olemeda and Kim Shatteen (Cedrick); and her siblings, Elma Martinez of Arvada and Gilbert Romero (Margaret) of Eaton, Colorado..

Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, or some of Maria's favorite charities including St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org), or St. Joseph's Indian School (http://www.stjo.org).
