She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Sanders and Cremo Sanders; her brother Melvin Sanders Jr.; her son Harry Elliot; her great grandchild Bliss; and her husband James L. Elliott.

She is survived by: her children, Anita Jackson-Elliott, Vonncelli Fix and Chantelle Johnson; her grandchildren, Brittanie Welch, Jamesetta Ridgeway, Courtni Wood, Dante Thomas and Emerson Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Armani, Benjamin and Lillyan.
