He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Windsheimer and Fredrich Windsheimer; his siblings, Ivan, Raymond, Leroy, Gene, Kenneth, Myron, Annie, Alzina and Viola; and his son Chet.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Cowen; his children, Cathy Windsheimer, Christi Jess (Lyle) and Craig Windsheimer (Gail); his grandchildren, Perry Parsons, Mandy Henderson (Ivan), Ryan Parsons, Jason Mueller, Bryce Jess (Bri), Blair Jess (Cady), Derek Windsheimer (Amy), Natasha Parrish (Joe), Brittany Windsheimer (Raul Reyes) and Kinsey Windsheimer (Joey Schneider); and his siblings, Jerry Windsheimer of Fort Morgan, Shirley Albert of Brush and Alice Reichenberg of Modesto, CA.. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
