She was predeceased by: her parents, Camilo Cardenas and Ninfa Cardenas (Hart); and her siblings, Lilian Garza, Mary Alice Gonzales, Reynaldo Cardenas, George Cardenas and Jimmy Cardenas.

She is survived by: her husband Simon Vaca of Fort Morgan; her daughter Oneida Petrino (Travis) of Weldona; and her grandchildren, Isabella and Luca Petrino.
