He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carpenter; his children, Dennis Hawes (Connie), Eldon Hawes (Karen), Marilynn Dalton (Ken) and Crystal Ramey (Stan); and his sister Joyce Martens (W. VA). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
