It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Simmons (Fort Morgan, Colorado), born in Sterling, Colorado, who passed away on August 26, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Shirley Simmons Bartlett and Larry Simmons; his brothers-in-law, Dale Bartlett and Charles Hehn; and his stepgrandson Jamie Cabrera.
He is survived by: his wife Alberta Simmons of Fort Morgan; his children, Jeffrey Simmons (Sharon) of Omaha, NE and Brenda Cabrera (Kirby) of Fort Morgan; his stepgranddaughter Lanette Cabrera; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Shayna, Corey and Kimberly; his great great grandchild Amiya; and his sister Donna Simmons Hehn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
