He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Galen Headley of Bluff; his wife Jackie Headley; his children, Michael Headley Jr. (Maria) of Fort Morgan, Nathan Headley of Denver, Chace Headley (Amber) of Sterling, Marissa Grooms (Jett) of Brush and Kasi Sievers (Chris) of Greeley; his mother-in-law Sally Davison of Fort Morgan; his siblings, Lynn Golemboski (Ed) of Hillrose, Dan Headley (Michelle) of Denver and Pamela Yearous (Mike) of Bluff, Utah; his mother Thelma Jean (Bersch); his grandparents, BJ, Katie Bersch, Amos and Grace Maude Headley; and his father-in-law Ross Brown. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
