He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Joey and Matthew; and his son Carlos. He is survived by: his wife Maria Matilde Vasquez; his daughters, Rebecca, Gloria, Vanessa, Raquel and Celia; his grandchildren, J. D., Sara, Monique, Sandy, Angelo, Michelle, Crystal, James, Natalie, Noah, Amanda and Samantha; and his great grandchildren, Eric Herrera and Jada Donez.
