He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Krien and Regina Krien; his sister Janice Uhrich; and his grandson Nicolas Krien. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Krien; his children, Jeni Nab, Karen Johnston (Doug), Susie Skinner (Ron), Steven Krien and Joni Van Meter (Lonnie); and his grandchildren, Cody Johnston, Kami Mook (Justin), Katie Bostron (Conrad), Ashley Pursley (Brison), Ross Vollmer (Rebecca), Ronnie Skinner, Maddie Krien (Andrew Gesick), Jordan Krien, Courtney Van Meter (Chad Williams), Taylor Van Meter (John Mitchell) and Kyle Van Meter. He is also survived by grandchildren, a host of friends.
