It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elzine K. Covey of Fort Morgan, Colorado, born in Brush, Colorado, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Baumgartner and Katherine Baumgartner; her daughter Sandra Wagner; her siblings, Betty Fontenot, Albert Baumgartner and Rynold Baumgartner; and her great great grandchildren, Preslee Graff and Weston Bolton.
She is survived by: her husband Verl Covey; her children, Sharon Covey of Casper, WY, Barbara Jean Moeller (Randy) of Rock Springs, WY, Debra Graff (Tim) of Fort Morgan and Robert Covey (Anita) of Fort Morgan; and her brother Richard Baumgartner. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
