He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Benzel and Lorraine Benzel (Cloud); his niece Jennifer Van Briesen; and his brother-in-law David McNees. He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Cotten (James) of Forney, Bobbi Benzel of Forney and Liliana Benzel of Commerce City, CO.; his grandchildren, Trevor Benzel, Victoria Lopez, Isabella Rosa, Brendan Hamilton and Braylon Hamilton; and his siblings, Cathy Pierson (Richard), Karen Tayler (Bertie), Dianna McNees and Larry Benzel (Mirla). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
