With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Barlow of Fort Morgan, Colorado, born in San Fernando, California, who passed away on May 11, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Carol departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carol. Though Carol may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman L. Shellenberger and Nellie Fay Day Shellenberger (Carol); her former husband Robert "Bob" Gumaer; her husband Benjamin Barlow; and her granddaughter Jennifer Lewis Danielson.
She is survived by: her children, Cyndi Lewis (Matthew), Karen Johnson (Jim), Lynne McReynolds (David) and Jackie L'Heureux (Ed). She is also survived by her four daughters, two sons as well as nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
