She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Braun; her parents, Marvin Brooks and Ruby Brooks; and her siblings, Donald Brooks, Richard Brooks and Donna Gregory.
She is survived by: her spouse Bill Christensen; her sister Marla Berry; her children, Bill Christensen, Darren Christensen and Sherri Scheer (John); her grandsons, Jason Scheer and James Scheer (Debbie); and also Ruby Brooks. She is also survived by children (Madeline, Meredith and Michael Scheer) and numerous nieces and nephews.
