He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Douglas and Brenda Douglas; his brothers, Rick and Rusty Douglas; his grandsons, Austin Gross and Elijah Eldridge; and his great grandchild Kaden Jimenez.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Douglas; his children, Gary Douglas Jr. (Hillary), Daniele Mestas (Adam) and Deanna Leitner (Travis); his grandchildren, Taylor Douglas, Chandler Douglas, Kalley Douglas, Lauren Leitner, Lane Nolan, Garrett Douglas (Maren), Colton Douglas, Riley Douglas, Elaina Leitner, Alleyah Eldridge, Brynn Leitner and Tara Leitner; and his great grandchildren, Sofia Douglas and Annalleyah Black.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calendar Greenwood & Myers Mortuary (2969 Baseline Rd, Boulder, CO 80303).
