He was predeceased by: his parent Zoila Johnston; his grandmother Bernabe; and his son Andrew Johnston. He is survived by: his sons, Elijio Jr. and Isaac; his siblings, Jacob, Sabina and Elizabeth; and his nieces and nephews, Daniel, Zekeriah, Nicholas, Oralee, Jackelyn, Raynee and Amilia.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hillside Cemetery (Co Rd 12, Fort Lupton, CO 80621).
