William Peter Kates Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2025, at the age of 88, William Peter Kates of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kates and Bertha Kates; his wife Constance; his in-laws, Helen and Zach Nicolopulos; and his siblings, Theodore (Andrew) and Bessie.
He is survived by: his sons, Peter (Jill), Zachary (Debra) and Christian (Rebecca); and his grandchildren, Anna, William, Owen, Sarah and Alexander.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church (2501 S Wolf Rd, Westchester, IL 60154). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in memory of his wife, who struggled with breast cancer.
