He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Cross and Vivian Cross; his parents-in-law, Margaret Wilson and Harold Hoy; his sister Carol Emiterial; and his great grandchild Wyatt Ford.

He is survived by: his grandson Taren Keesey; his wife Betsy Cross; his children, Debbie Cross-Keagy and Jeff Cross (Jeannine Allen); his grandchildren, Kayla Pierpont, Jessika Cross-Miller (Austin Miller), Katrina DeLoach (Erron DeLoach), Seth Cross and Kory Keagy; and his great grandchildren, Taren Keesey Jr., Weston Keesey, Hayden Pierpont and Bentleigh Pierpont.
