He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Lawrence Bowlby and Joan Mays. He is survived by: his wife Sally Bowlby; his siblings, Kevin Bowlby and Cheryl Hickmann of Maryland; his children, Jordan Bowlby of Denver and Shannon; his son-in-law Alan Helm; and his grandchildren, Alecia of Skyler, A. J. and Lexi Helm.
