With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vickey Jean Ruth of Fort Collins, Colorado, born in Santa Monica, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 77. As we bid adieu to Vickey Jean's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Vickey Jean has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parent Gene; and her sister Terry Schlaugher. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Ruth; her daughters, Dawn (Tom Moss) and Cassy Castellano of Corpus Christi; her brother Richard "Rick"; and her grandchildren, Nicole Moss, Kasoma Moss and Ashley Garza. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Vernonia Memorial Cemetery (2080 Bridge St, Vernonia, OR 97064).
