He was predeceased by: his brother Donald L. McMillen II. He is survived by: his children, Keli Rae McMillen of Olney Springs, CO and Donald L. McMillen III (Kelly); his grandson Donald L. McMillen IV; and his sister Ginger Montgomery. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

“Me and mine bookend Tom's beautiful farm, where the deer and the turkey roam. We've been neighbors to this one-of-a-kind kind man since 1998 and friends from the first Hello. "How are you, Tom?" I would call from the road in passing. "Upright!" he'd always reply. Thanks to Tom's mentioning a nearby landowner was subdividing his property, my daughter and her family also live in the 'hood. My 2-yo granddaughter Rader and Tom became fast forever friends. We. Miss. You. Love, Brenda Rader Mross”
