He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Wagner and Rose Wagner; his son Richard Baumgartner; his adoptive mother Mary Baumgartner; his sister Tillie Hebel; and his foster siblings, Lawrence Baumgartner, Francis Sommer and Margaret Wilke.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Baumgartner; his children, Thomas Baumgartner (Julie) and Judith Lukach (Brian); his grandsons, Timothy Baumgartner, Daniel Baumgartner (Jess), Kevin Baumgartner (Sarah), Stephen Lukach and Maxwell Lukach; and his great grandchildren, Elea, Tash Baumgartner and Thea Baumgartner. He is also survived by many other relatives and lifelong friends.
