She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, June Poettmann and Fred Poettmann; her close friend Ray Fox; her husband Ray Fox; her children, Beckie Garrett, Erica Owens (Sean) and Stuart Fox (Katie); her grandchildren, Savannah Garrett, Emilie Garrett, Graham Garrett, Nora Fox, Bristol Owens and Grace Garrett; her brother Phil Poettmann (Natasha); her sisters-in-law, Glenda Amen (Ken), Marilyn Amen (Jack) and Ina O'Dell (Mark); and her son-in-law Brian Garrett. She was also cherished by nine nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Trudy's memory to one of her favorite organizations: the Larimer County Humane Society, the U.S. Figure Skating Memorial Fund, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or the Alzheimer's Association.
