He was predeceased by: his parents, Tinkham and Bertha; his children, Jim Shields, Terry Shields and Kathy Prentice; and his brother Carl Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Bart Baker (Ellen) of Dodge City, Becky Moulden (Brad) of Monument, Billie Casillas (John) of Phoenix and Cindy Shields of Garden City; and his sisters, Clara Jo Talkington of Strong City and Joy Nelson (Ted) of Cassody. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family suggestes that memorials be given to First Southern Baptist Church in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
