He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Verla Navratil and Joseph Navratil; his wife Heather; his siblings, Linda Sweetland (Bob) and Doug (Deb); his nephews, Chris Sweetland (Angela) and Rob Sweetland (Jill); his niece Lisa Davis; and his cousins, Kirk, Tim, Pam and Sandy.
In lieu of flowers, Dick requested that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, as he did not want children to suffer as he did.
