It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Hecker of Fort Collins, Colorado, born in Miles City, Montana, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hecker and Elizabeth Hecker (Schleder); his wife Diane Marie Lauer; his siblings, Alice Love, Francis, Vincent and Jerome; his siblings-in-law, Ruth Hecker, Frances Hecker and Melvin "Mac" Love; and his sons-in-law, Michael Ragsdale and Jeffrey Walbye.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Walbye of Fort Collins, John (Laura) of Larkspur, CO, Ann Perricone (Mario) of Littleton, CO and Douglas of Steamboat Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Jackson Walbye, Morgan and Paige Perricone; and his sister-in-law Holly Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
