She is survived by: her siblings, Dango Mwinyipembe, Msindo Koff, Kelai Ayume and Sopiato Likimani; her daughter Vanessa Namuyaba Temanju; and her grandson Michael Malaika Ssimbwa. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
