It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam E. Schultz (Fort Collins, Colorado), born in McIntosh, South Dakota, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Wendland and Mildred Wendland (Hoffmeister); her spouse Romain Schultz (Shorty); her siblings, Rev. Robert, Melvin Wendland and Eunice Plieseis; and her sisters-in-law, Ramona Hagen and Virginia Arndt.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Zahn (Richard) of Fond, Pamela Dixon of Garden Valley, Karen Yancy (Kevin) of Port Angeles, WA and Quinn Schultz (Lisa) of Fort Collins, CO.; her grandchildren, Nicole Hom (Mark), Kayla Ottmar (Scott), Justin Zahn (Chelsey), Ian Zahn (Maddy Post), Kyle Dixon (Katie), Ryan Dixon (Amy), Nathan Yancy (Shelly), Heather Harrington (Peter) and Whitney Allison (Zach); her great grandchildren, Eleanor Hom, Katurah, Raleigh Ottmar, Connor, Ethan Dixon, Rusty, Canyon Dixon, Claire and Sarah Harrington; her brother Rev. Luther; her sister-in-law Maureen Wendland; her sister Dolores Jahnke; and her siblings-in-law, Virginia Bryer, Betty Wendland, Winona Belligan, Pat and Margaret Schultz.
