She is survived by: her husband Dieter of Siegburg; her son Holger; her daughter-in-law Claire Zipser of Fort Collins; her grandsons, Julian of Fort Collins and Adrian of Denver; her brother Uwe Scherer of Siegburg; and her nieces, Carmen Jakobs of Siegburg and Tina Corneli of Baesweiler. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
