He is survived by: his parents, Chanpheng Syphanthong and Khamda Phonthongsy; his children, Hyacinth Phonthongsy Moya, Kordalia Phonthongsy and Preston Phonthongsy; and his sister Sisudachanh Phonthongsy (Phouthone Chanthaboula).
