It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Petersen-Brown of Fort Collins, Colorado, born in Gilcrest, Colorado, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, August Maul and Leah Maul (Weber); her stepfather Henry Rusch; her stepdaughter Shelly Jo Brown; her stepsiblings, Hubert Rusch and Gladys Geist; her brother Don; her sister-in-law Francie Brown; and her mother-in-law Leah Brown.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Julie Lynne; her husband Clarence; her children, Brad and Julie Gilmore; her stepson Paul Brown; her brother Ken Maul (Jan); her grandchildren, Amber (Chas), Alexandra and Aaron (Erika); her great grandchildren, Jaydin, Koby, Danika, Wyatt, Charlotte June and Lyric Lee; her siblings-in-law, Margaret Rusch, Cheryl Hiatt (Gene) and Melvin Geist; and her grandson Jaydin.
While working June served on several boards, The Fort Collins DDA, DBA, Poudre River Trust, GSAC Board, the Greeley/Weld Senior Foundation, Rocky Mountain Senior Games and the Fort Collins Hilltop and Parkridge HOA.
