She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bucknot and Helen Bucknot; and her sister Bonnie Schaub. She is survived by: her son Mathew (Kim); and her grandchildren, Michaela (Max), Miller, Meagan Tarka and Caleb Tarka.

In lieu of flowers, donations to one of her favorite charities in her name can be made to Father Flanagan's Boys Home or Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
