He was predeceased by: his children, Gregory Alan Lofton and Julie McKee; his brothers, John "Jack" Lofton, Earl Lofton and Randall Lofton; and his parents, Luther Lofton and Margaret Lofton.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Lofton; his sons, Michael Thomas Lofton, Scott James Lofton (Brenda) and Curtis Lofton (Kathi); his stepdaughters, Kathy Sholders (Cliff), Patricia Mielbeck (Kevin) and Susanne Halter; and his son-in-law Michael McKee. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family, as well as many lifelong friends.
