It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh Gaines of Fort Collins, Colorado, born in Caldwell, Idaho, who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan "Hugh" and Roberta Gaines (Dayley); and his brother Steven Gaines. He is survived by: his wife Karen of Fort Collins, CO; his children, Michelle Landry (Damon) of Wellington, Lauri Olsen (Tom) of Thermopolis, WY and Todd Gaines (Katie) of San Antonio, TX.; his brother Rick Gaines of Belgrade, MT; his grandchildren, Lindsey Pyle (Jeff), Nick Brown, Kaleb Olsen (Keisha), Kylie Olsen, Katie Olsen, Kameron Olsen, Colin Gaines, Ayden Gaines and Kelton Gaines; and his great grandchildren, Nick and Reece Pyle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to River of Life Church for their youth program, The Amp, (3712 Cleveland Avenue, Wellington, CO 80549).
